Boutique Hotel “Cortijo La Vista” applies the terms and conditions below. These conditions are valid from the moment a reservation is made until the end of the stay at our resort.

1. General

• These terms and conditions apply to all guests of Boutique Resort “Cortijo La Vista”, Carretera CO7404, km 4.5, 14209 El Hoyo (Bélmez), Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain.
• Feiko Hofste and Daniëlle Schraven are the owners of Cortijo La Vista. They may be represented by a third party.
• By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these terms and conditions.
• A copy of the terms and conditions will be provided upon request.
• Guests must have a permanent residence or place of stay.
• Staying at the resort is at the guest’s own risk. The owners are not liable for loss, damage or theft of guests’ belongings.
• Any damage to property of Cortijo La Vista must be reported immediately and compensated.
• Instructions given by staff must be followed at all times.
• If these terms are violated, or in case of inappropriate behaviour, access to the resort may be denied without any right to refund.
• In case of dispute, the administration of the owners is binding unless proven otherwise.
• Guests are required to comply with the house rules of Cortijo La Vista.

2. Reservation and confirmation

• Reservations can be made by phone, email, in writing or via our website.
• After receiving the request, we will send a confirmation. The reservation becomes final at that moment.
• The confirmation includes a reference to these terms and conditions.

3. Payment

• A deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is required at the time of booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.
• If payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. The cancellation policy will then apply.

4. Cancellation and no-show

• For a non-refundable rate, 100% of the amount is due in case of cancellation.
• For a standard rate:
  • Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival: free of charge.
  • Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before arrival: 50% of the amount is due.
  • Cancellation within 14 days or no-show: 100% of the amount is due.
• Refund of the deposit depends on the above cancellation terms.

5. Arrival and departure

• Check-in from 15:00.
• Check-out before 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out is possible upon request and may incur an additional fee.
• No refunds will be made in case of early departure.

6. Responsibility and damage

• Guests are expected to leave their accommodation in a tidy condition.
• Any damage or missing inventory must be reported immediately and will be charged.
• Waste must be disposed of in the designated bins.

7. Pets and smoking

• Pets are not allowed unless agreed upon in writing beforehand.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation.

8. Force majeure and liability

• The owners are not liable for inconvenience caused by external factors such as power outages, construction work or natural events.
• In case of force majeure (such as war, natural disasters, political unrest), the rental agreement may be cancelled without liability.
• The owners are only liable for damage resulting from intent or gross negligence.
• Damage caused by the guest’s health condition or actions is excluded from liability.
• We are not liable for damage normally covered by travel or cancellation insurance.
• Any compensation for demonstrable loss of enjoyment is limited to the amount of the rental fee.

9. Final provision

• By making a reservation at Cortijo La Vista, boutique hotel in Andalusia, the guest agrees to these terms and conditions.

We’re delighted to welcome you. To ensure that you — and all other guests — can enjoy peace, space and comfort, we’ve put together a few house rules. Not strict, just friendly — exactly how we like to be welcomed ourselves.

Arrival & Departure

• Arrival: from 3:00 PM
• Departure: by 11:00 AM (late check-out available upon request)
• Luggage storage: available in the lobby during reception hours
• Early departure: no refund

Breakfast

• Served between 8:15 and 10:00 AM (in the salon or on the terrace)
• Not included by default – please reserve when booking or at least the day before
• Dietary requirements? Please let us know in advance

Dinner & Theme Evenings

• On request, we serve a daily menu – please inform us in the morning
• Two theme evenings per week (see website or information board)

Room Key

• Key provided upon arrival
• Lost key: €25 (payment via cash, payment request or PayPal)

Air Conditioning

Please use the air conditioning only when you are in the room — for the sake of the environment and the peaceful atmosphere.

Linen & Towels

• Bed linen included – changed after one week
• Towel change: twice per week
• Pool towels available on request
• No daily bed-making (for privacy and tranquillity)

House Rules During Your Stay

• Quiet hours between midnight and 8:00 AM
• Visitors only upon request and may incur an additional fee
• Free parking on the property
• Please dispose of waste in the appropriate bins
• Noticed anything unusual? Please report it immediately

Pets & Smoking

• Pets are not allowed in the rooms
• Smoking is only permitted in the designated area near the car park
